Day 01: |
COCHIN (Stay with breakfast) |
Arrival at Cochin Airport, Pick up and drive to hotel on arrival and check into the hotel, then relax. After lunch can go for shopping at M. G Road, Ernakulam and city tour of Cochin, the palm green commercial capital of Kerala, also know as the 'queen of Arabian Sea'. visit Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, Bolgatty Palace, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace etc.. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 02: |
MUNNAR (Stay with breakfast) |
After breakfast drive to Munnar (140 kms, 4 hrs drive), takes you through a number of cardamom, rubber and tea plantations. Munnar is at the height of 4420 feet above sea level and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams. Munnar offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea plantations, picturesque towns and winding lanes. On arrival check into hotel, after lunch Half Day sightseeing covering Echo Point famous for its Echo Phenomenon, Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Lock Heart Gap known for its panoramic views. Evening free at leisure. Dinner. Stay overnight. |
Day 03: |
MUNNAR (Stay with breakfast) |
After breakfast Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Thar. Anamudi peak which is at an altitude of 2695 m above sea level is situated in the southern region of this park. After lunch free for optional entertainments. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight at hotel. |
Day 04: |
THEKKADY (Periyar) (Stay with breakfast) |
After breakfast drive to Thekkady, a scenic 3 hours drive from Munnar (110Kms), if interested, visit a Tea factory on the way. Check in the hotel. Afternoon, Boat Safari in the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, one of the most fascinating Wild Life Reserves in India. The greatest attraction of Periyar is the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lakes edge to drive away their thirst. Boating in the Periyar Lake watching the animals. Evening, visit the Spice Market where you can pick up some fragrant spices or handcrafted jewelers. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 05: |
THEKKADY(Stay with breakfast) |
Special day out programme - local plantation visit, trekking, visit Spice Garden, enjoy Nature and local sightseeing. Over night stay at hotel. |
Day 06: |
COIRVILLAGE LAKE RESORT (Stay with breakfast) |
After break fast check out from the hotel and proceed to Coir Village Lake Resort alleppey. All the cottages are surrounded by lush green backwaters and hardly half a km from Arabian coast. Relax up to afternoon, enjoy the backwater surrounding and witness the coir weaving, which is one of the skilled handcrafts of Kerala ladies. Over night stay at Coir Village with delicious Kerala cuisine. |
Day 07: |
COIRVILLAGE LAKE RESORT (Stay with breakst) |
Special Day out program like village canoe ride and enjoy the beautiful sunset cruise through Kayamkulam Lake and get a glimpse of traditional Kerala life. Over night stay at COIR VILLAGE. |
Day 08: |
ALLEPPEY (HOUSE BOAT) (Stay with all food) |
After the breakfast visit the famous snake temple Mannarasala, which is one of the rare snake worshiping temples in Kerala. Alleppey is known as the Venice of the East has a largest network of Canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. Large number of tourist are attracted to this district because of its boat races, houseboat. On arrival check in to Houseboat. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. The cozy double bedroom, the sit - out, the sundeck, the well stocked kitchen and the modern toilette give the guests a feeling of being at home in the lovely waters. The time the houseboat anchors in lake gives the guests a chance to experience cloistered comforts in the company of there loved one. One can move through small narrow canals, lakes & lagoons see traditional fishing, farming below sea level etc., which will help you to catch a brief memorable picture of Kerala backwaters. |

ALLEPPEY (MARARI FISHERMEN VILLAGE BEACH RESORT.) (Stay with breakfast) |
Marari originates from " Mararikulam ", one of the local fishing villages located between the port city of Cochin and Alleppey, where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. Completely new to the holiday maker. 'Fishermen village' offers endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by swaying palms,. And here, amidst the coconut groves is the Marari Fishermen Village Beach Resort. Marari Beach Resort is also constructed with a strong ethnic flavour. It has 9 independent A/c cottages. The restaurant serves delectable fare, both Indian and Continental. Over night stay in the Resort. |
